I hold a master in cultural anthropology and German literature and have worked as a journalist and for the last ten years as a director of a Montessori school and academy. During this time I started my education as a systemic therapist which is my current occupation. I specialise in couple and family therapy and also work as a coach for organisations and NGOs. I am a mother of four sons.

More than every second marriage gets divorced. Still the romantic relationship is the ideal that most women and men are thriving for. Wouldn't it be very helpful if couples receive a "relationship coaching" in the very beginning of their relationship. (be it their first relationship or a multiple thereof). We need a license to drive a car, in some countries we need a license to own a dog but there is no relationship license or early education in this crucial matter.

I am a "second hand TEDster". I have watched may video talks and local TEDx-events but never had the chance to take part in an international conference since my four children needed my attention at home. Now that my oldest sons are moving out I enjoy more freedom and would like to attend to more TED-events around the world. My husband is a TED-fanatic and co-organizer of the TEDxMunich conference since many years. I support him and the team with speaker- and volunteer-research and coaching.
