Hi I'm Andrea! I am currently a rising Senior at the best school in the world: the University of Miami. I live in Miami, Florida with my parents, grandparents, older sister and dog named Nemo. I think that college has definitely been the best four years of my life so far. It has challenged me immensely, but through those obstacles I was able to discover myself and what I am deeply passionate about.

Climate Change. In my previous response, I outlined how passionate I am about our Earth. I believe that protecting and preserving our Earth is part of our duties of being a citizen and a person. Realizing that climate change is real and is inevitable is the first step into enacting change within our communities.

Learning how to speak to people in an educated manner. In college, I was able to discover how passionate I am about the environment. I think over the past few years, a lot of topics with differing opinions tend to be politicized and climate change is one of them. Usually when topics are politicized, we often become very passionate and forget how to communicate with one another. We all have ideas to share and it's important that we do so without forgetting that we are all people at the end of the day.

Community Outreach, Environmental Science
