Back in the 1970s Denmark pioneered the commercial wind power industry. Still today a substantial share of the wind turbines around the world are produced by Danish manufacturers. In Denmark wind power today generates >43% of Denmark’s total electricity consumption. The country has ambitiously adopted a plan to increase the share of electricity production from wind to 50% by 2020 and to 84% by 2035. Welcome onboard. You’re in for an amazing ride! Speaker introduction: Mrs. Rikke V. Stoltz has a corporate background from the A. P. Moller Maersk group where she held several positions with considerable bottom line responsibility. Her tenure there included expatriations to Brazil and Switzerland. In recent years she has carefully picked and been involved in four very different entrepreneurial projects. This included building a highly successful start-up from scratch to a solid commercial success with the world’s largest windfarm installation vessels. In addition to also being Lead Organizer and the TEDxFrederiksberg licensee, she currently studies theology at the University of Copenhagen.

Frederiksberg is an independant city physically located within the city of Copenhagen. We are often referred to as "the green heart of Copenhagen".
